Prompt Workflows
GameDiscoverCo exposes optional MCP prompts that guide AI assistants through common multi-step research workflows. You can always ask questions directly, but prompts are useful when you want a structured analysis.
Prompt availability and placement vary by MCP client. Look for a prompts, templates, or slash-command menu in the client you use.
| Prompt | Purpose |
|---|---|
analyze-game | Guided single-game market analysis. Supports market, competitor, audience, and sentiment-focused analysis. |
compare-games | Structured comparison between multiple games. |
genre-report | Market sizing and performance analysis for a genre or tag. |
market-report | Broader market report, including trend and subscription-focused variants. |
pre-release-analysis | Pre-release demand and launch-readiness analysis for an upcoming game. |
publisher-analysis | Publisher portfolio and positioning analysis. |
When To Use Prompts
Use a prompt when you want the assistant to run a complete workflow. Ask naturally when you only need a specific answer.
For example:
Use the Analyze Game prompt for Balatro, focused on post-launch performance.
Use the Genre Report prompt for roguelike deckbuilders.
